Story

Godshill is a lovely picturesque village on the Isle of Wight, with a thriving community & village school. It is also an area that receives thousands of tourists each year. Yet we are lacking in play ground facilities for the children that live here and the surrounding areas and for the children who come to visit our beautiful village.

As a community, we are committed to creating an amazing play park, for all to enjoy. We will have a dedicated fenced in toddler area, space for older children with a zip line and most importantly equipment and space dedicated to those children with disabilities, including a wheelchair accessible swing, roundabout and areas for sensory play.

Phase 1 is the main play park with a pathway for wheel chair access to the park itself with Phase 2 being the addition of a nature area.

Our merry team of parents and volunteers are dedicated to raising the money to make this happen, via fundraising, sponsorship, grants and begging!

We want a space where our children can thrive, have fun, get fit, enjoy the fresh air, move away from the television, create memories, be creative, and even make new friends.

Thank you so much for supporting us!
