I've raised £5000 to Support families living with dementia

Golf In Society is a social enterprise with a mission to improve the lives of families living with dementia by introducing them to golf.
For over two years we have been proving how golf can improve people's physical, mental and social wellbeing, even when dementia tries to get in the way.
The beauty of our pioneering work is that it provides people living with dementia with an enjoyable day out whilst providing their carers with the chance to enjoy a priceless respite break.
Families who contact us often say "I wish you were nearer to us so we could join in". We want to make this wish a reality by creating a network of dementia friendly golf clubs that help more families "live well with dementia" when this devastating disease decides to intrude on their life.
To help raise vital funds and awareness about our dementia support service, Anthony Blackburn, the founder of Golf In Society, will be taking on a golfing challenge to PLAY 100 HOLES OF GOLF IN ONE DAY.
The challenge will take place on the longest day, June 21st at Lincoln Golf Centre, the UK's First Dementia Friendly Golf Club.
ALL monies raised will be used to extend the availability of our FRONTLINE services to support even more families to live well with dementia.
As a small pioneering service trying to make our social mission a reality, every donation is priceless and will make a real difference to people's lives.
We hope you can show your support by making a donation and sharing this page with your friends and family.
If you are in any doubt about how special our work is to the families we help, please watch this short video and listen to what the carers have to say about the support we provide.. It really is proving to be a "life-saver"
