Help Golinsan and Ganduyan Turtles Fundraise for St. Caroline

Greetings of peace to everyone

Saint Caroline Church in Padangaan, Besao, Mt. Province now stands as a full- pledged parish. However, as the dust finally starts to settle, the congregation now met a more daunting task of building a church of their own where we can grow in faith and plant some seeds of transformation. They are currently having their services at the Padangaan Barangay (Community) Hall which is very much adjacent to the road and most often causes some inconveniences to people passing by or people doing other business in the community. Not to mention also the fact that at some point, the service is also disturbed by the same circumstances.

In view of the above-mentioned concern, a team of iGolinsan and iGanduyan Endurance Athletes (Golinsan and Ganduyan Turtles) are joining series of events to help raise fund to build a place of worship which the congregation ever since have been longing for.

Dukaw Cadiogan will be participating in the London Full Duathlon on September 5 and likewise running the Humanity Direct Tring 50kms Ultra in Hertfordshire, England on September 25. He will be running as well the London Marathon on October 3 and the Chicago Marathon on October 10 (re scheduled next year due to travel restriction to the USA) as part of his dream of completing the 6 world marathon majors www.worldmarathonmajors.com. In addition, he will be running the Venice Marathon too on the 24th of October.

Byrne Bacwaden aka Igor Byrnz on Facebook, on the other hand, to note one from his list, will be running the Canal Corridor 100 miles on October 9 in Akron, Ohio. Byrne successfully ran the C & O Canal 100 miles in Maryland last April 25,2021 and he is again looking forward to running another extra-long distance run this coming October.

The Golinsan and Ganduyan Turtles of Maryland - Joanne Alimurong, Ira delos Santos, Leonora Coyoy, Marivic Bacwaden and Arsenio Dalang will be venturing out also to run the Philadelphia Trail Marathon on October 16.

In London, Chester Feliciano will be running the Camino Ultra Epping Forest 50kms on October 9 while Jo-Anne Siano Aplod will be running the Wimbledon Common Half Marathon on August 01; The Vitality Big Half on August 22, and the Beachy Head Marathon on October 23, 2021. Both runners will virtually run the London Marathon too on October 3.

And in the Cordillera in the Philippines, Daniel Ambasing will be running the Baguio Road and Trail 55K Ultra on November 6, 2021.

Furthermore, Muaythai and Boxing Instructors, brothers Bryan and Jerry Bagsiyao, will conquer the number 1 marathon in China, running the Shanghai International Marathon on November 28.

We are pushing ourselves physically and mentally in our trainings for these challenging events and we hope you could support our efforts by contributing to this appeal. May we further remind everyone that all our expenses for these races (registrations, nutrition, travels, etc) comes from our own pockets and nothing will be deducted from the raised amount. This online fundraising finishes on November 30, 2021.
