With the help of the local community, as young as 5 as old as 88, the help of the local MP and the help of my wonderful friends and family, we are desperately trying to provide shelter this christmas day and night to as many homeless people and their dogs as we possibly can. Whilst you and I do not worry about a hot meal, a warm bed to sleep in and if we will wake up in the morning, this is not the case for everybody unfortunately. I am very aware that many people are skeptical about giving to the homeless and poor due to drug abuse and deceit about needing the money, however we are not intending to hand out money, we are simply aiming to provide a hot meal, a sleeping bag, somewhere safe and warm to sleep for just one important night of the year. Whilst this doesn't affect many of us, please consider the affects it has on the less fortunate. Last year I had a 6 year old boy pass a a Christmas meal to a homeless back, both of them broke down in tears. Do good and good will come to you.
