I want to raise money for youth development at both Ballymena Youth Academy and Ballymena Golf club. During this pandemic i feel youth development has been neglected, tho circumstances have dictated this. I want to give people within these groups a financial platform when activities commence again. I also would like to contribute to the kris boyd mental health and turning point Ballymena.

Ive had problems with my mental health + from experience if you dont deal with it ive realised how much a damaging effect it can have not just on yourself but your surrounding family. Anyone that knows me knows that im pretty easy going and not much bothers me so this can effect anyone. Please dont bottle it up ☹️

I remember lying on my bed in floods of tears + turining round to my wife + saying i cant take this any more, i plucked up the courage, went to the doctor..... theres no easy way of saying this i said to her...... im struggling to live..... by the time i was finished telling my story the doctor was in tears herself 😥 Daily medication, weeks of soul searching + months of councilling im in a much better place now..... tho still have a wobble now + again 🤦🏻‍♂️

Im running the belfast marathon + my aim is to raise awarness for mental health + to help people ither through my nominated charities or enjoyment through sporting activities, especially children who have suffered like many people through this pandemic.

I want to raise funds for Turning Point charity in Ballymena. Ive already ran two fundraisers during the year as part of my marathon, Ive had to set up a new page as my last one expired.
