Story
Lady Kathryn / Ledora was built in 1929 at rockferry Liverpool. It was firstly owned by a naval officer and was used in the military service and serviced throughout the Dunkirk war and was put back into civil use in 1947. Lady Kathryn was used in the remake of the Whisky Galore film as a customs cutter which was filmed at Portsoy on the east coast of Scotland . I have owed Lady Kathryn for 11 years now and have used the boat before for boat trips and charity work. There is a disabled entrance and additional seating areas depending on peoples disability. The reason for crowdfunding is to raise adequate funding to upgrade the engines to be able to move her to Gloucester docks and use her for trips for injured service personnel getting her back to her roots again being in the service.
