Our chosen charities this year are -

Sands - a charity that provides support to anyone affected by the death of a baby. They offer support through various bereavement channels. They work to improve maternity safety through research and to help understand the reasons behind infant mortality. Sands amplifies the voices of bereaved families and healthcare professionals to advocate for better practices. Their mission is to improve bereavement care, save babies' lives, and create a world where fewer babies die.

Young Lives vs Cancer - a charity that provides comprehensive support to young people affected by cancer. They offer financial support to help ease the burden for patients and families along with day-to day support for everyday challenges that cancer brings. The charity arranges free accommodation close to hospitals, helping families stay together during difficult times and supports teens and young adults, whether emotional, educational or by providing career guidance.
