Hello, we are the National Citizen Service! We are a group of 15 teenagers working hard to make a difference for the community! We hope you can help!

Recently, we have come to the decision to undertake a social action project to benefit the community! We came upon a recreational area for young children in the estate of Gorwell, Barnstaple. This area has become rundown and unsuitable for young children and toddlers to learn and play due to inappropriate graffiti. We, as a team, have decided this playpark deserves to be rejuvenated, and we would like to follow through with this between the 1st and the 5th August!

We care about this project because North Devon is a close and friendly community, and we want it to be as enjoyable for people as possible. We would like future generations to have a safe and fun environment to grow up in.

We will however need funding for this. Due to poor weather, we will need a tarpaulin. We will also require a variety of colours of paint and painting equipment. Sadly, these things will need funding, and that's where you can come in! With your support and a series of small donations, we can help to make a difference for the future generations.
