Gosfield Community Shop has been run for the last 7 years, by volunteers, including almost 2 years of lockdown when it proved invaluable to the community, under temporary planning permission, from a portacabin located next to the Pavilion. However, time is running out and a new permanent building must be under way by October 2022 otherwise an Enforcement to Close Order issued by Braintree District Council will see the shop permanently closed.
