Huxley's Birds of Prey Centre
Hi everyone, I need your help. Huxley's is a bird of prey centre that is special to me and to my family. Huxley is named after the boss, a beautiful European eagle owl and Julian (really the boss) owns the centre. He takes care of injured and abandoned birds, returning as many as possible to the wild; he provides a sanctuary for others and he is a falconer with a true passion and dedication to the centre he created. Our family discovered Huxley’s in 2001 when our children were young. It has been an inspiration to one and created memories for all of us. My small family business, gosshawk, is inspired by birds of prey. My passion for them and our historical association with Huxley's makes this appeal hugely important and so relevant to me.
The pandemic has closed many places that rely on visitors for their income. Huxley’s needs £600 a month just for their food bill for the 90 birds. Gosshawk wants to help Huxley’s at this time of crisis. Huxley’s hopes to re-open in August. We would like to raise £1800 to pay for the food for 3 months of the closure.
I am mindful that these are incredibly difficult times for so many of us but please any donation, however small, will be very gratefully received.
Please help me to help Huxley's....thank you.
