    Story

Already in 2016, there is over an estimated 3,500 people sleeping rough on any one night across England, according to government street counts. However, this is only a snapshot and the actual figures are likely to be much higher. Homeless is a serious problem across the country and whilst many of us may feel that it is out of our powers to solve it, this does not mean that we are powerless to help at all.

Got Your Back is a grassroots effort to provide some small relief and support to homeless people around the country by distributing low-cost/maximum-value backpacks. Each backpack contains items that have been carefully sourced to provide the best value for money and range from cosmetic/toiletry items, blankets, drinks and snacks.

Best of all, each backpack will cost no more than £20, yet each one will be provide long-lasting relief, comfort and support to the individual it is given to! Therefore, you can be sure that the money you donate is having a worthwhile impact.

No, this effort won't solve homelessness. However, what it will do is provide relief and support to some people in dire need and possibly make their lives a little easier for a while. That, I think we can all agree, is something worth donating a little bit of money towards.
