Why We’re Fundraising at GothFrog Productions

GothFrog Productions is a not-for-profit community project with a mission: to create inclusive, safe, and affirming alternative events that raise awareness and funds for causes we care deeply about, including the Sophie Lancaster Foundation and other grassroots campaigns.

We don’t make a profit from what we do. Every gig, club night, and creative gathering we organise is a labour of love. But love alone doesn’t cover the costs.

Even though we’re run entirely by volunteers, we still have to pay for:

• Venue hire

• Sound engineers and tech staff

• Equipment & Decor

• Travel costs for performers and volunteers

• Promotion and printing

Raising money means we can keep our events open to everything, without ever putting up barriers like high ticket prices. It also helps us support the people who give their time, energy, and art to make these nights happen.
