Hello everyone! I am currently undergoing overseas work experience for an organisation called PrimeTrust in Pondicherry, India. I have the pleasure of staying here for two months working alongside them, volunteering on their projects and helping to offer the knowledge I have gained so far in my degree in International Development.

I have created this fundraising page because I have been so touched by all the positive work they are doing. They have a range of projects which aim to help underprivileged children in the area but I am working at their Janani Home for Girls where they provide support, shelter, family and an education to underprivileged girls.

The girls at Janani Home are either orphans or unable to stay with their family because there is no money to support them and keep them in education. The  home  provides  food,  shelter,  education,  school  supplies  but  most  importantly  it  provides  these  little  girls  with  a  place  of  comfort,  stability  and  belonging. This home is one big family and I have never  seen  more  happier  children!

They have such high hopes and aspirations for the work they are doing and so many more great ideas they would love to put into practice but this year they have had a great financial struggle. When I leave I hope to donate any money raised to PrimeTrust to help them continue with their work. Please, please, please take the time to donate even just £1.
