Operation Walk Ireland (OWI) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to perform hip and knee replacements for patients, who would otherwise not have access to this life changing surgery. I am so fortunate to join the amazing OWI team for their next mission in March 2020. I will work as a physiotherapist alongside an amazing group of doctors, nurses , interpreters and my physio colleagues in Hanoi, Vietnam.

I will be responsible for the care and treatment of patients in the pre and post operative stages and most rewardingly, in mobilizing patients after they have successfully underwent their surgeries. I feel incredibly humbled to have been selected for this opportunity to use my skills as a physio, to help others in improving their mobility and quality of life.
