My name is Grace Ellen Hirst and I am 11 years old. I go to the asd unit in ysgol ffordd dyffryn. Before I went to this unit, I was really struggling in school. I couldn't cope with my autism and I kept getting excluded. I felt very low and I hated having autism. But then I want to the asd unit, and the teachers there helped me. They showed me how to cope with my autism. This is my last term at the unit,
And I would like to give something back. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be able to cope now. I would really like to raise money for more sensory toys for the other children. Things like sensory rooms, timers, tangles, ear defenders and fidget spinners, really help to calm us down and stop us feeling as anxious and frustrated. I am going to to do a bike ride from old colwyn to rhos on sea, and I would really like if people could sponsor me to help other children with autism!!😁😁
