We are raising funds to help fight against the NMC. The fact that they can unaccountably rule over nurses and make decisions against legal guidance is deplorable. Sarah Busby has worked for one trust for over 35 years. Only to find that people that tell untruths are more believed than the actual events. The fact that any nurse without union support has to face a trained barrister on their own and the fact that a panel are asked to make legal decisions based on one sided evidence presented to them because they are swayed by trained lawyers makes trying to fight them on your own impossible. Add to that that if they do adjudicate against you, they inform you that to appeal will personally cost you thousands of pounds and can only be done through the High Court.
