This isn't the kind of thing that I would normally do, but iv been asked by a number of friends to set up a just giving page so that they can contribute a few pounds.

My mum volunteers for child and family connect and they do a great job helping families in very difficult situations by creating a safe supervised neutral space.

Although the families at contact centre are the subject of court orders, there is no central funding provided and all rents and costs have to be met by fundraising activities...

My friend Conor and I undertook the epic Sophie's L2P24 challenge on the 5th and 6th of May 2018..... We cycled from London Greenwich to Newhaven Port (58 miles) before boarding the night ferry (with no sleep) and being on the freezing roads of Dieppe at 5am... Cycling the 126miles of rolling countryside and ever bigger hills to Paris...

After 23hours and 50minutes of sheer effort, pain, some cursing and exhaustion and exhilaration we finished this incredible challenge under the Eiffel tower......

Any contribution no matter how small would be massively appreciated and really would help.... my employer United Utilities has a very generous matched funding scheme which means that every pound donated really will count double....
