Story
In November 2014 my youngest brother Graeme was tragically killed in a road traffic accident just one month before his 25th birthday. In memory of Graeme and in acknowledging that he would be celebrating his 30th birthday this year, the family are undertaking a number of challenges in support of "Graeme's Gift" raising funds for Radio Odstock; the acclaimed hospital radio station broadcasting to Salisbury 'Odstock' Hospital. Graeme was a volunteer presenter for Radio Odstock for 10yrs, regularly broadcasting an evening music show. It was a big part of Graeme's life and he was passionate in promoting it and offering comfort to patients and staff alike. We want to continue to support his love of music and to keep Radio Odstock 'spinning'.

4 years agoThe family and myself wish to pass on our thanks to all who have donated so far; the Team from Odstock are most appreciative. We and the Odstock team have decided to keep the JustGiving page open until the conclusion of our challenge. Once the lockdown and world has settled down, and we can all look forward to a full 2021, we will be able to confirm more information of the event. Once again thank you to all who have supported and donated, we look forward to finally completing the challenge soon. The Comlay Clan

4 years agoHello to all our supporters After discussions with the family and the Radio Odstock team we have taken the decision to postpone Graeme’s Gift Walk until 2021. With the ongoing concerns from the Corona Virus its wrong to try and rush the event and potentially put our supporters and the hospital at risk. Once we have settled into a new normal and plans for the future can once again be made, we will all be back to complete our challenge. We are aiming to complete the challenge between April and June 2021, dates to be finalised after Christmas.

4 years agoMany thanks to all the support we have had in the run up to Graeme’s Walk and offers of help and walkers on the day. Following Government advice on the Corona Virus we are postponing the event, with the aim for it to take place on Saturday 27th June dependent on Government advice. Once again, we thank you for all your support so far and look forward to completing the walk later in the year, we will keep you updated.
