Story
I have decided this year to raise money for the world famous Repton Boxing Club in the East End of London, where my Grandson Georgie trains.
I am going to abseil down the Church Langley water tower in Harlow on 29th April 2017, AND I'M AFRAID OF HEIGHTS!!
The Repton Boxing Club does not receive any funding, grants or benefits from the Government or Local Authority and is totally dependent on donations or sponsorship from events like this.
Repton desperately needs funding to meet the costs of up keep and maintenance of the building and to provide essential equipment to maintain the high standards of the Club.
Repton boasts many National and International Champions. My Grandson Georgie Ellis is now a 4 time National Champion, due entirely to the support of the coaches and staff of the Club.
Please visit Repton's website at: www.reptonboxingclub.com
Repton offers the finest coaching for both seniors and juniors, from beginner's level upwards. The Club Boxing team competes throughout the year at various events both in the UK and abroad, while the venue itself has been regularly used for TV, Film and Magazine shoots.
The Repton Boxing Club does not receive any funding, grants or benefits from Government or local authorities. Over the years they have kept their doors open and lights on at the Gym, through donations and sponsorship from local business men. To keep the club open, they rely solely on the contribution of club member subscriptions and proceedings from Boxing shows to fund the club.
Last year Repton Boxing Club received the status of a Registered Charity and are extremely grateful for any donations from the public.
Repton's current Junior and Senior Boxing Teams are among the Strongest in the country. They have regular shows against other counties, cities and countries. They are always open to Challenges from teams from abroad and across the UK
I would be so grateful if you would support my charity abseil.
Thank you
Graham
