Wilfred Geere is a dementia respite home based in Farnworth, Bolton. Although the home is owned by Bolton Council the home itself has no official funding given towards residents activities. These activities can include the travelling theatre, art, games, therapeutic sessions, beauty treatments, films, the visiting zoo and entertainers. The above can only be made possible through fundraising and donations and are an essential part of the care that the residents receive. On September 8th this year Myself, Chris Eva, Alan Eva, Jacob Eva, Barry Chapman, Tom Corbet and Jack Reagan will embark on The North West Tough Mudder course to raise funds for this worthy cause.
