Weʼre raising £1,000 to Raise money for Portsmouth Autism Support Network, Portsmouth Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Portsmouth Association for the Blind.
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
What are we doing????? those of you that know us well will be thinking that we have lost our minds as myself, Mark and Paul have all decided that we will represent #808 and take part in next years Great South Run as we want to help 3 great local causes.
The first being Portsmouth Autism Support Network which is close to my heart as my son James is Autistic and there are many families out there that need the support that this group provides.
The second being Portsmouth Neonatal Intensive Care Unit who do an amazing job for those that cannot help themselves.
The third is Portsmouth Association for the Blind a local help group that do an outstanding job.
Ask me now and I will tell you that I couldn't crawl 10 miles and I'm pretty sure that both Mark and Paul will tell you the same, but we have a year to prepare and what a great incentive we have given ourselves, we also know that we have the most fantastic network of friends and family that will support us and after having a laugh at our expense will then get behind us and encourage us all of the way.
