A dear friend and all round Twyford legend passed away recently after a short battle with cancer.

Graham was one of the biggest footie fans I have ever met and was definitely in his element whilst playing, watching and especially coaching the beautiful game.

His commitment to the Twyford Comets was impressive - a great coach and motivator, and truly passionate about sharing his skills and love for the game.

We would love to celebrate his contribution to the club and village, and honour his memory with a commemorative bench in one of the football fields in Twyford. We are hoping to have this by the cafe in King Georges field, so people can watch the kids playing footie with a bacon sandwich and a coffee (or perhaps an Irn-Bru!).

Please give what you can - we need to raise just over £1,000. If we raise more than this, the additional funds will given to the Sue Ryder charity, in recognition of the comfort and care they gave to Graham and his family during his final few weeks.
