Story

So we are coming into March🥰

26th March is Epilepsy Awareness Day UK 💜

This year we will be doing the challenge of 26miles in 26 days for Epilepsy - update- we have done roughly 70miles now 🥳🥳🥳
This time we will be raising the funds to put to good use at our local hospital childrens wards.

We will be raising necessary funds for Altnagelvin Parents Support Group (Parents of Wards 6 & 16) who then use the money raised to help parents and children who stay weather it be a one off or for prolonged periods of time due to not just Epilepsy but all ongoing illnesses.

Epilepsy is extremely close to our hearts having a 12 year old daughter Roisin who was diagnosed with Epilepsy from the age of 2.
We have spent alot of time in lots of different hospitals especially over the last few years and we would like to give a little back.

Without the help from those that run the support groups in our local hospital that make the stay more bareable for parents and children it would be a nightmare journey.
They make it all a little better. From funding for new parent beds, toys, tea/food supplies, toilitries etc, all this isnt possible without this group and your support.

So we need your help 😁 help us raise funds for your local children's ward and we will do the walking challenge as well

we will start our challenge tomorrow keeping you updated our progress 💜 we will also hopefully do a few draws to get the money the ward deserves and needs 😊
