    Story

    Thank you all!

Hi guys, as many of you may know throughout my entire life I've always had an attachment to a sport of some kind. It was horse riding for a long, long time but unfortunately due to my increasing pain levels I am not able to do that consistently and if I'm honest it just wasn't enjoyable anymore. So I stopped sport to concentrate on my exams - but I really missed it. I missed being active, I missed having something to look forward to every week and since I was unable to go riding anymore I had to look for something different

That's when at the end of my last school year, on a Saturday night, I found myself on youtube looking through an array of disability/para-sport. And well, wheelchair racing caught my eye. I swear I must have an attraction to super expensive sport couldn't have been tennis or something like that that literally cost like £10? No, of course not.

So, I looked around and found 'Red Star Athletics Club', a club for disabled athletes, and who sure enough did racing. I phoned my now coach, Ian up, and he invited me down to the track. Since then I knew it's something I wanted to do.

Here comes, the difficult part - the chairs are expensive. The average price for a starting chair is £3000 and it can be more for better ones.

However, I've decided this is something I want to do. What I've experienced of it so far has been really incredible and I already have met a lot of amazing people, I want to continue doing that
If I was lucky enough to get a chair these are some of the things I see myself doing/why you should donate:

    - Charity races
    - Competing
    - I'll be fitter therefore in less pain
    - Hopefully, I will be raising awareness for disabled sport
    - You can claim all my achievements as your own as you donated

Thank you so so much, this really means a lot to me. you're all amazing, lovely kind people!
