Story

Grange Primary School Book Fundraiser - Books for the School Library.

The children of Grange Primary School are raising funds to refresh their school library books - they would love to increase the diversity of books and increase the variety of both fiction and non-fiction books that they have on offer to choose from.

Between 10th February and 3rd March, Grange Primary School children will be carrying out a sponsored reading challenge, this reading challenge period includes World Book Day 2023, which is a fantastic day dedicated to promoting reading amongst children. They will track how many minutes they have read over the duration of the read and have some optional challenges to complete along the way such as read to their pet or read in an unusual place. We look forward to hearing about what they get up to and where!

We all know last year and this year have and will be a little tougher than usual, with some families being affected a lot worse than others. We would really appreciate you donating to this wonderful fundraiser, not only to provide some lovely fresh books for the school library but to encourage our young children to develop a love of reading.

We are running this fundraiser in conjunction with our Usborne Partner @lunaslibrary123 who will be providing an additional contribution of books on top of what we fundraise. Any fundraising £600+ will receive an additional top-up of 60% in more books. We really want to go for it and get the school as many books as we can - we hope you are onboard!

If you have any queries about the challenge or books please contact charlotte.titterton@hotmail.co.uk.
