Great Bentley Community Support group are raising money for the materials to produce hospital scrubs. We have a team of local volunteers ready to start sewing but we need the funds to supply them with what they need. Completed scrubs will initially be donated to a local ACE Paediatric Services Lead and her team who have been moved onto the Covid-19 fight dealing in palliative care for those who cannot be offered a ventilator as well as sick children. They will also be required to make home visits to recovered Covid patients offering physiotherapy services. In their usual roles scrubs are not worn, but now on the front line they need to have them to stay safe and well and to continue to carry out their work effectively. Once we have supplied this team, all other scrubs sets will be donated directly to Colchester, Clacton, Harwich & Ipswich hospitals. The more we raise the more we can make!!!
