I've raised £5000 to help fund new toilets and changing rooms for girls

When the pavilion was built almost 30 years ago, a single female toilet that coupled as a disabled toilet was felt more than adequate for a male dominated sport. Yet in 2019, more than 30% of junior cricketers at the club were female and girls played in every team from U9 through to 2nd X1 with 2 teams dedicated entirely to girls. As a result, the dated facilities are under pressure and are not adequate to allow equal access to the sport for both sexes.
With the help of a local architect, the club has put together ambitious plans to add on additional toilets, changing and shower facilities for girls alongside some other much needed improvements to the club house, which also doubles up as the only community facility in the village.
The money raised through this crowdfunding appeal will be put towards the new facilities and allow the club to apply for larger grants from local and national organisations by demonstrating support for the project.
