Weʼve raised £0 to Help Greece's Wildfire Victims

Closed on Wednesday, 21st November 2018

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Story

At least 74 people have died in the wildfires near Athens, Greece.

In addition to the deaths, officials report that,

At least 164 adults have been injured.

    23 children have been hurt.

715 people have been evacuated, mainly from the area of Mati.

The words lurk in front of the human drama that has unfolded so close to us while we all think intimately that it has happened so far away. Let this be the first time that people of Greece will not be silent and at least they will ask for responsibilities; without this meaning that all these victims who once again have been sacrificed to the altar of political and business purposes will come back.

And because sometimes  words are not enough to describe the feelings you feel by watching this untold tragedy, self-evidentely I am going to try  to raise some money which will be used to contribute to the relief of the Rafina wildfire victims.

Food and medical supplies are already being gathered from fellow citizens which will be shipped to the affected areas.

All money raised will be  sent to a dedicated account opened by the major of the area.

The Gofundme page has been put together to make the donation process easier. If you are unable to make a donation or prefer to donate directly or via Paypal please see details below,
