Wildfires started in Attica on July 23, 2018 have claimed many lives. It not only destroyed homes but also hope. While the dead are being mourned, those who are left behind have lost everything. We all want to help, but don‘t know how, as we are far away, so I thought of crowd funding. The target might seem ambitious, but I believe they need more than that. So I hope, with whatever amount we can give, and from as many people as we can reach, we can collect and bring this money to the people affected and ease their suffering a little. I do not know how much and how fast the Greek government can help in times of austerity, but the victims need help NOW. They’ll soon be forgotten when this news isn’t a news anymore.
