Story

Our annual St. Patrick's Day lunch is back this year on 18th March to raise funds for two fantastic charities - The Clink and The London Irish Centre.

Tickets are now sold out! However, if you would still like to support these two fantastic charities in some way, we are this year giving you the opportunity to donate online.

A free pint of Guinness will be available to all people who donate, available to enjoy in Rotunda Bar and Restaurant in King’s Cross before 25th March.

The St. Patrick's Day event is back for a fourth year, with 2021 fundraising being through at home restaurant kits. Previous years have raised in excess of £40,000 though ticket sales, auction and raffle.

Changing attitudes, transforming lives and creating second chances. The Clink Charity works in partnership with Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service to deliver 30 training projects: 4 restaurants, 3 gardens, 1 events catering business and 22 prison kitchens. All projects utilise our five step integrated programme to ensure that prisoners receive the support they need, not only while they are in prison, but also after release: we recruit, train, support, find employment and mentor our graduates post release. Green & Fortune were the first company to employ a Clink graduate.

In 1955 the London Irish Centre charity opened its doors to meet the needs of newly arrived Irish emigrants. Initially providing accommodation and welfare the Centre quickly became the focal point for all things Irish in London. Today the charity continues to be the Irish heart of London - the largest Irish community centre outside of Ireland and the largest Irish welfare charity in Britain.
