I run 2/3 times a week and frequently I witness countless people having to sleep rough on the streets of Southend and in tents along the cliffs. It is heartbreaking to see this happen to so many people. I feel lucky that having gone through redundancy twice that that person could have been me, had it not been for my fantastic family.

We can't fix the problem of people living rough but I would like to try and make a few a bit comfier, a bit warmer and feel like they are being noticed.

I am running a triathlon and I'd like to raise £200 to purchase approx, 25 hats, 25 pairs of fingerless gloves, toiletries, blankets and food etc.
