As one of two fantastic local causes to benefit from his year in office, the Mayor of Stockport Walter Brett, asked to have one of our MND Association branch in Stockport take part in the annual Mayors abseil event!

As the Vice Chair and a proud Stopfordian, the local branch commitee kindly nominated me to take on the huge concrete giant that is Stopford House!

Its an honour to represent the branch in my Hometown, and I just hope the wind behaves on the day, as Vice Chair i‘m proud to help do my bit, and I guess I’ll see Stockport from a different view atop the towns concrete giant!

All funds raised go to two great causes, so every penny anyone can spare will help make a massive difference to support local people who need it.
