I have been lucky enough to be selected to go on the Gordonstoun Thailand water project 2017. This will take place in June of 2017 and will last around three weeks. When I am in Thailand the aim of the project is to build water tanks to supply fresh water for a Karen village in the north of Thailand allowing them to wash themselfs and also as a source of clean drinking water. Alongside building the water tanks we will also be working closely with the villagers and children. We will have the opportunity to teach some of the younger children in their village and supply them with some basic supplies like pencils, bubbles and various other learning equipment.
