    Story

The Grenfell Tower fire has already claimed dozens of lives. More and more evidence is surfacing of how council and government decisions caused the catastrophe.

Grenfell Action Group, a long-standing member of Radical Housing Network, have been campaigning on the estate and pressuring authorities for years. They predicted this disaster, warning of negligence, building maintenance and safety issues.

Grenfell Action Group have an important role to play in the campaign for justice following this preventable, political disaster. They need our support to organise the fight for justice and to ensure this tragedy is never repeated.

Grenfell Tower must have a legacy, and cannot be an opportunity for further regeneration and privatisation, or for profit-making from a new development.

All ‘who called Grenfell home’ must be rehoused locally if they wish, regardless of residential or immigration status. Those responsible must be held to account.

Grenfell Action Group is a resident-led campaign set up in 2010 to defend the rights of those in Grenfell Tower and the wider Lancaster West Estate.

Grenfell Action Group are a member group of Radical Housing Network, a London-wide alliance of housing campaigns who are coordinating support. @radicalhousing
