    Story

My name is Greta Welch, I was born in 1960 in Jamaica - a Commonwealth country - and came to the UK in 1962 on my mother's British passport. My 3 younger siblings have British passports as they were born here.
I have held down multiple jobs since age 18 and am still employed currently, at age 56. I have 4 children and 5 grandchildren who are also struggling to get British citizenship because I am not a British passport holder.
The law is constantly changing and it is getting more difficult and more expensive to apply for citizenship; I need to complete the full application as soon as possible in order to secure a stable future for myself, my children and my grandchildren.
It will cost £3000 to apply and I would not ask for help unless I really needed it. Please could anybody help with fees, I have tried every other way and this is my last resort.

Thank you so much for anything you can give. Please share this with family and friends if possible.
    Thank you so much,
    Greta Welch

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
