I will be throwing myself off the Liverpool Cathedral (101m) to abseil in support of the Merseyside and North Cheshire Retired Greyhound Trust.

This charity is close to my heart as my first dog Lulu came from them and my second greyhound Dante, both beautiful dogs that have filled our house will love and laughter since the day we brought them home.

The majority of the greyhounds brought into our care have finished their racing career and are past on to us to find them a home.

The charity is run on volunteers who I have had the privilege to have worked alongside, each turn up day on day whatever the weather to give care, walk and fundraise for the hounds because they are dedicated to finding these gentle hounds a home they deserve.

Sponsoring my abseil will go to support the care and wellbeing for the greyhounds in our kennels, including vet bills, new coats for their winter stay in kennels, food, etc.
