I've raised £500 to help support the fantastic work of the Grey Muzzle Canine Hospice Project, providing end of life care to dogs.

The beautiful girl in this photo is Wilma. She is a currently being cared for by the wonderful Grey Muzzle Canine Hospice Project, who provide end of life care to abandoned dogs from pounds within the United Kingdom, who have been given less than six months left to live.

This truly amazing project was set up by one incredible woman named Nicola. She spends an average of £500 on each dog, although this can be much higher, depending on what medication and mobility aids the dogs in Nicola's care require. Usually the project helps 2 dogs at any time. This money comes from Nicola's own pocket and from donations.
I urge you to read this piece from the Metro for a fully insight into the great work Grey Muzzle do:

I would like us to raise 500 pounds together, to help pay for one dog to live out their last days surrounded by love.
As well as Wilma, a 13 year old gentleman who has been diagnosed with Lymphoma will shortly be going to stay at Grey Muzzle.
As such I'll be accepting sponsorship for shaving my beloved (award winning!) beard!
