Bea, David, Emma, Joe, Lyndon, Marnie, Michael, Morgan and some virtual & short-walkers including Maisy & Liz and several others, and our much-needed support crew Dave & Julie within the L&G Group Procurement team are raising at least £2,500 to support 4 different cancer charities - Breast Cancer UK; Prostate Cancer UK; SKCIN; & St Barnabas House

As a department, these 4 charities are very close to our hearts including one of the walkers who has suffered from skin cancer in the last year with expected return treatments, plus several of our colleagues who have joined the "C Club" in the last year and have either "survived", still fighting, or not been so fortunate in their battles, PLUS we all know friends, relatives and colleagues who have been impacted by these illnesses SO we all want to do something to try and help, that's why with insanity in our minds we've decided to take the big step, and thousands of steps after that in 24 hours to walk from the top of Portsmouth Spinnaker Tower on Sunday 31st May 1200hrs to the top of Brighton i360 on Monday 1st June before 1200hrs, almost 60 miles from start and finish, and then up to our L&G Hove offices to raise awareness and more funds for these charities.

Will it be uncomfortable ? Yes, though nothing like having Cancer;

Is it a long way ? Yes, 60 miles, though still nothing as having to face chemo or other treatments

Why ? Why not, we're lucky to be able to attempt the walk so...
