Support our sponsored walk!

On October 31st some of our staff, volunteers and friends are doing a 14km sponsored walk around the Guisborough 3 peaks to raise funds and awareness for Growing in Harmony, our community garden. This will be quite a challenge for some of us but we think it's worth it!

Our community garden provides an accepting and inclusive place for people of diverse and often challenging backgrounds to find a sense of belonging and purpose.

Volunteers and staff alike have found that it boosts their mental health and wellbeing on so many levels, being out in nature, being around likeminded folks, having the opportunity to talk things through or just work quietly, creating something together and gaining a sense of achievement from it.

In order to keep our project and community going and continue this important and often life changing work, we need to be able to buy tools, seeds, pots, compost, building materials and all kinds of other supplies that may not be seen but are no less vital and that's where you come in! Please give what you can and share this fundraiser to help us keep up the good work!
