Help Us Support Grundisburgh Primary School!

The staff and governors of Grundisburgh Primary School are taking on the Orwell Challenge to raise much-needed funds for our wonderful school. On 29th June 2025, we will be walking along the beautiful Orwell River to show our commitment to our students and our community.

From the full 25-mile ‘Orwell Walk’ to shorter routes like the ‘Levington Loop’, everyone is choosing a distance that will represent a personal challenge. Wish us luck!

Why We Need Your Support

Grundisburgh Primary School is a place where every child is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. However, like many schools, we face financial challenges that impact our ability to provide the best possible education and resources for our students. This year, we are particularly excited to introduce the Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) programme, and we need your help to make it a success.

Children in British primary schools spend 20% or 1.4 years of their school attendance in play. The OPAL programme aims to enhance outdoor play and learning opportunities for our children, and is the only programme of its kind that has been independently proven to sustainably improve quality of play.

The programme has been shown to support behavioural and inclusion improvements as well as more general wellbeing.

Your generous donations will help us to fund resources for the OPAL programme, and to enhance our learning environment.
