Story

Recently a fire swept through the cultural hub that is the Glasgow School of Art, unfortunately it also damaged other notable Glaswegian venues in the process. In the wake of its destruction the police have set up a cordan which has dissallowed many of the small aspiring businesses that usually thrive around the surrounding area of the fire. To add to this, local residents have been barred from entering their properties to collect belongings of importance(work related, religious, medications etc.).

With this in mind these businesses are put in a position where they may begin to struggle as rent and bills still come in altgough the customers do not through a breakdown in communucation between residents, local businesses, the authorities and the city council.

As taxpayers these people have the right to some form of answer to their problems which arose from complications that started within a government funded institute. This means that the city council and government are therefore respsonsible for these loss of earnings and damage to local properties because of their undue negligence in terms of the fact that the fire system installed within the Glasgow School of Art was sub par and quite clearly insufficient at carrying out its duties.

I digress, this online donation page has been set up in order to support the victims of the aforementioned circumstances. As a community I personally believe we should be offering whatever help to these people as we can because of the lack of compassion orchestrated by the council, the government and the authorities is at the least to say bewildering.
