Story
The 2 main schools, along with 95% of the infrastructure, on the island of Barbuda have been completely destroyed. As a teacher in a school in the Channel Islands, I am forging an island to island, school to school crowdfunding campaign to directly raise funds for The Holy Trinity Primary School and Sir McChesney George Secondary School in Barbuda.
I am hoping the funds raised by the Guernsey College of Further Education (GCFE), will go a little way towards rebuilding and supplying the schools with the tools and resources required to allow education to flourish once again. Our new public service and sport students will be driving this campaign through various fundraisers at the GCFE and in the local community, but please feel free to donate independently towards this great cause.
