    Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page, we will do the Thee Peaks of Yorkshire challenge on 14th of March 2020. This walk is 25 miles (37 kilometres) long with an elevation of over 1000m. We are doing it to raise money to help children in need in Paraguay.

Three of us are going in April 2020 to work in “Centro Abierto Mitami Roga” (Children’s Centre) to provide a safe space, education and healthcare within a very impoverished community.

This centre only functions with the help of volunteers. That’s why we a raising the money to provide them with school supplies such as paper and pencils and other really necessary resources like a fridge, washing machine, tables, chairs and toothbrushes etc. We would also like to set up more classrooms to accommodate the additional children now waiting for a place. We plan to also establish a community library since there is none in the neighbourhood.

We are grateful for any contribution you can make to help us improve the lives and life chances of these children and families in need; whether it be financial assistance, verbal encouragement or other support; a little goes a long way.
