Story

Guiseley Theatre is a Victorian building and not much has changed since it was built 158. This means the building is inaccessible and often over looked by passers-by.  2025 is the year we change this.

We are raising money to make our main entrance accessible and improve the signage and appearance of the Guiseley Theatre façade.

We will do this by:

installing a permanent stone ramp and step configuration to the main entrance, made with local materials and in keeping with style of the existing building.

Replacing the main doors with a power assisted door, making the entrance accessible and improving heat conservation in the building

Replacing the rotting wooden 'Guiseley Theatre' sign with a new, stylish lit sign

Adding lighting to the front of the building to make the building visible on an evening

Adding signage that extrudes from the building that is visible from the main road

Replacing the rotting poster boards on the front of the building with digital display screens, enabling to advertise multiple events at once

The total cost of all these projects comes to just below £30,000. We aim to raise half of this through crowd funding, sponsors, donors and with support from our fundraising group!

The remaining £15,000 we hope to secure through applying for specialist funding.
