Story
This is Mufasa, she was left tied up in a field and rescued by some local children who took her home. She had skin sores and a deep wound to her leg. The family had done their best but needed some guidance and support to get her back on her feet. From here the idea of a Dog Patrol where dogs can be visited where they live to help with minor injuries before they become large issues was born.
Gunjur Dog Patrol is a new initiative, part of GreenBox Charity, that aims to create a healthier and happier dog population in and around Gunjur, The Gambia. By employing experienced and knowledgeable Dog Rangers to visit, treat and monitor the health of local dogs whilst they are living at home we will help to support and educate dog owners for the long term health of their dogs.

We aim to hold regular vaccination and neutering clinics and provide a first point of contact for local people concerned about their dog welfare as well as assisting with access to veterinary care when required.
Our target of £4,000 is to help us get set up and to operate for 6 months guaranteeing the salaries for our two Dog Rangers.
