I've raised £35000 to help get promising new stem cell treatment to repair my kidneys

Lupus is a dreadful disease that causes the body to attack its own organs. As a young budding child Ji was diagnosed with this disease and it caused both his kidneys to quickly deteriorate. The doctors and nurses were great in supporting him and in return he always had the ambition to give back. So he became a nurse and now recieves mountains of great feedback from his patients. It's been a journey.
He studied nursing when he had a kidney trasplant. He had the freedom to study and work, play and enjoy life like the rest of us. Suddenly his kidney transplant failed. He was relegated back to having dialysis treatment 3 times a week. This means he has to cut back his hours as a nurse and increase his time as a patient. Dialysis is awful, after every session he feels washed out, dizzy and not quite himself. We ask that he gets help so he can continue to help others.
A new treatment involving stem cells has an 85% percentage success rate in repairing kidney function. That's never before heard of and we are all really excited for him. It's in America and they are checking back with him every month to see how his funding is going.
The treatment isn't available in England. Despite all enquiries NHS England have not approved this ray of hope treatment which promises so much. With your help Ji can have his kidneys back and return to full-time employment doing what he does and loves best - Nursing people just like him who need help. Thanks for your kind support.
