Story

I have a 9 month old French Bulldog with some chronic health conditons. He has had collitis for a few months now and is really struggling with it. He’s very happy in himself, loves his food, loves long walks and making new friends in the park, and can’t get enough of cuddles with absolutely anyone. He’s a real character is Gus and we love him dearly.

I didnt purchase Gus, he was given to me by a “friend” who breeds french bulldogs on he condition that he would be used for a stud when he was old enough. I didn‘t agree with this and especially after the collitis started it wouldn’t be fair for him and could potentially be passed on to puppies.

Recently, I had a phonecall from this friend, telling me that he has no “use“ for Gus anymore. Basically meaning, he’s gone out of fashion and there’s no demand anymore and therefore is selling him. But to me Gus isn’t a product, and never has been and will always be my little baby. His health is getting worse, and although he’s a happy little thing it’s really hard for him and I will do anything within my power to get his health back to tip top conditon and make Gus’s life the best it can be!

So, I am looking to raise the asking price of £2000 to buy Gus so he can stay in his home forever. Sadly, if I don’t raise the money he will be sold to just anyone, and I’m sure they won’t be made aware of his health problems and they can do just about anything with him which breaks my heart!

Please help keep Gus home
