Glasgow University Women’s Basketball Club is a competitive club that has been going for over 50 years. Currently, we have two teams who travel around Glasgow and Scotland competing in BUCS leagues (British Universities and College Sports) and the Scottish National League.

As we stand at the start of the season, we have had lots of interest in the club but not enough resources to facilitate all of the potential new members.

We need to fundraise £1500 each semester over the next academic year to keep ourselves up and running (physically and financially!). This is needed to cover coach fees, transport to away games, league membership fees, to facilitate new members and help us to develop our club as a whole.
Fundraising and sponsorship is especially key to the club this year as we take the new and exciting step up of playing in the National League.

By donating you will be promoting and helping the development of female sport as well as supporting student athletes.

Throughout the year we will be running bake sales, sponsored events, bagpacks and more. However, this total is a big challenge for us so any help at all is very much appreciated.
