Hi!

Firstly, thank you very much for clicking on this page! That already means a lot to me.

My name is Guy Jones and I am 19 years old. My story starts about four years ago when I got my first bike. I would do short rides with my mates, just for fun and I would have laughed at you if you had said in 4 years I'd be where I am now.

Fast forward to the present day, I am heading into my third season racing and after a lot of hard work and determination, for 2019 I am racing for a team called Veloce Racing. An elite team based in Gloucestershire. I met the teams manager back in February 2018 while in Calpe, Spain on a pre season training camp. We kept in contact and after impressing in the 2018 season I am now the youngest rider on the team in 2019.

I currently live at home with my parents in the North West of England, although come April, I am moving out to join my team members in the South of England. To be able to afford to live there I will be working, however as it is my goal to become a professional cyclist this work will be part time to allow me to train full time giving me the best chance of achieving my dream.

You may be asking where your money will be going; well even with the money I will be earning and the full support of my parents, the extra expenses of me living independently in the south of England are very high. Your money will be used so I can take full advantage of the amazing opportunity I have been given. It will all be going towards things that allow me to be able to focus on achieving my dream and not having to worry about what may restrict me.
