Esyllt was a wonderful storyteller and singer who told stories in Welsh, English and both at once!

Roedd Esyllt yn storiwraig ardderchog yr adroddodd yn Gymraeg, yn Saesneg ac yn ddwyieithog!

When she died of cancer in 2014, Beyond the Border International Storytelling Festival created a storytelling bursary in her name. See: www.beyondtheborder.com/festival/

Pan bu farw hi o gancr ym 2014, creuodd Gwyl Stori Rhwngwladol Beyond the Border fwrsari adrodd straeon ar ei chof hi. Gweler: www.beyondtheborder.com/festival/

The bursary, Gwobr Esyllt Prize 2016, was awarded to Tamar Eluned Williams, a young Welsh woman storyteller /singer, to enable her to develop her skills and continue Esyllt's work. Read about Tamar here: https://en-gb.facebook.com/tamarelunedwilliams/
